CARLSBAD, Calif. – The winner of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Magnit Championship used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ 125 TX flex shafts in his irons.
The 33-year-old South Korean shot 20-under par 268 at Metedeconk National Golf Club in New Jersey, shooting rounds of 70-66-68-64 to win by three shots. The winner’s check for his first Korn Ferry Tour victory was $180,000. He won eight times on the Japan Golf Tour where he played since 2015 after playing his college golf at Arizona State.
